Koi Spawning Brushes (pack of two)

Description Black Knight koi spawning brushes, made in UK, top quality. Fish safe, used in the fish spawning season. Made from a soft material that will not harm fish and commonly used in koi ponds to encourage fish to spawn.  Safe for use in koi fish ponds and aquariums. Easy to use: Place the koi spawning brushes, spawn ropes just below the water level.  One above the other, toward the edge of the pond. The Egg Hatching Brushes or Spawn Mops create a natural koi environment.  This will encourage the fish to spawn, usually happening in the early hours of the morning. Proceeded by an evening of flurried koi fish activity. The spawning takes several hours, during which most of the eggs will stick to the koi spawning brushes. They create a safe space for the fish and eggs to hang out and grow. After the spawning, it is a good idea to separate the brushes from the broodfish, otherwise the eggs will be eaten. It is best to put the brushes in filtered water of the same temperature as before, and the fry will hatch in 3-6 days. The small fish should be kept separate until they are large enough to be introduced to the pond.
