Simple and handy! Ive had a spare Dremel knocking around the shop for years, and with this accessory, its found a home in my welding cart! This sure speeds up my sharpening – I dressed up a pile of electrodes that I hadnt gotten around to dressing, as well as a box of new ones while I was at it – it only took me about 10 min. I also like the idea of keeping consistency in the tip angle that I couldnt maintain while hand sharpening. The tool is light and easy to use, but you have to keep a firm hand on the electrode, as the vibration from the dremel makes the rod try to walk out of the sharpener, but once you get the knack, its easy. Its nice having the extra diamond wheels as well. I wish it had a couple of holes for 1/8 rod – I dont use it much, but I have a couple. I guess I can suffer one electrode being sharpened at the bench grinder. �� It seem like a lot for a little piece of aluminum, but when you compare to the dedicated sharpeners on the market, and look at the time saved & consistent results, its worth it.
