Compact dev board for the Si24R1 2.4GHz RF transceiver chip – a cheaper alternative to Nordic’s popular nRF24L01 . Looking to compete directly with Nordic, the Si24R1 is also an ultra low power (ULP) 2Mbps RF transceiver IC for the 2.4GHz band with many similar specs and features. This board has an added PA (Power Amplifier) and LNA (Low-Noise Amplifier) for improved transmission and reception of RF signals, helping extend the overall range. To further improve range, this board also has an external SMA antenna connector, allowing higher gain antennas to be used if required.
